Untied Knot

Created during a Santa Fe residency, this series of 21 oil and cold wax paintings on Arches oil paper explores release, tension, and unraveling. Layers are built, obscured, and excavated, allowing color and texture to surface like memory. Each piece holds the moment where structure loosens—where the knot unties and something new begins to emerge.
